Have you heard about Peter Capaldi refusing to act a romantic relationship with Clara? Do you think he'll do well, or be smothered by Moffat?

raptorific:

From what I’ve gathered, Peter Capaldi is a huge fan of Doctor Who that pretended to be a huge Moffat stan until he’d signed an airtight contract, at which point he revealed he hates the direction Moffat was taking the show he loves, plans to systematically undo it to the best of his ability, has been openly mocking and refusing the participate in parts of the script he doesn’t think are true to the character, and insisting that they “won’t chase him off this show,” which is basically saying “this town ain’t big enough for the both of us.”

I think the new season of Doctor Who is going to be glorious.

"It’s just a morality tale, it’s obvious which gift is best, which one you’d choose—"

The three of them spoke at the same time: Hermione said, “the cloak,” Ron said, “the wand,” and Harry said, “the stone.”

They looked at each other, half surprised, half amused.

"It’s just a morality tale"

And it’s amazing what each choice tells you about each person

Harry, who’s lost loved ones, whose life has been miserable without they who died, who fears losing the loved ones he still has, would want the stone.

Hermione, who has ambitions, dreams, and so many opportunities and possibilities open to her, who would use a time turner just to take classes, would prolong life and live it to the fullest, would want the cloak to keep death away until she was finished.

Ron, whose family has been looked down on, who has loved ones he wants to protect and enemies he wants to vanquish, who is strong and values strength, would choose the wand.

"Waste of good ammo. It’s my privilege to buy you a replacement box."

"All self-respecting whites have a moral responsibility to support our growing number of martyrs to the failed experiment called diversity."

"I thank all Police, you are the ‘Thin Blue Line’ protecting normal Americans from aggressive and entitled primitive savages. America is surely at the tipping point."

Just a few quotes (in case it’s hard to read) from that collection of donation messages for Darren Wilson.

Does anyone else want to say it’s not about race?

"I wouldve donated double this amount but you missed his accomplice" I swear to fucking god…

Fun fact: if you know your feline body language, you’ll notice that the lynx is deferring to the housecat. As far as these two are concerned, the housecat is the higher-ranking cat.

OH MY GOSH

Stop calling what’s happening in Ferguson a “riot”.

It is not a riot.

Vancouver losing the Stanley Cup a few years ago was a riot. It was angry, drunken destruction with no purpose. (And as a Canadian, it was a shameful event)

Ferguson is not a riot. It is a protest. It is an uprising. It is a civil rights revolution. The prople of Ferguson may be angry, but they have a reason to be angry, and they are not violent, and they are not hooligans, thugs or looters. They are protesting for their human rights which are currently being denied.

Look at the difference between a riot and a protest. A riot is chaos. A protest has a purpose.
